"WESKA" 2022

Fellow Deans,

I hope this feels like a timely follow-up to yesterday’s retreat.  The Carson College of Business will offer our “WSU Entrepreneurship Skills and Knowledge Accelerator,” open to graduate scientists and researchers across the university, June 13-17, 2022. The program will be offered in-person, at the Spark on the Pullman campus.

WESKA is aimed at WSU graduate students and postdocs who are interested in an introduction to entrepreneurship and in interacting with a community of like-minded students. No prior knowledge of business or entrepreneurship is required. Under the direction of Professor Arvin Sahaym, we’re building a great set of sessions for these students, and we look forward to welcoming them to a WSU community of innovative researchers.

There is no charge for participation in the program. Funding for the program is provided by donors to the Carson College via the Dean’s Catalyst Fund. Funds may also be available to support expenses associated with students traveling to Pullman from other campuses to attend.

If you have any questions please let me know and I’ll do my best to answer them. If potential students or their advisors have questions, the best first contact is Liridona Ponosheci (Liridona.ponosheci@wsu.edu).

This is our fourth time running the program. Attached here is a flyer. We welcome its redistribution, forwarding of this email, and any further suggestions as to how to reach students who might be interested.

Thanks!

Chip
